Does Cube ID work with (basically) ANY Ardupilot flight controller?

Bought a Cube ID and trying to get it to work with a “betaflight-type” flight controller (don’t know what else to call those), namely a Kakute F7.

Generally speaking - does the Cube ID work with ANY flight controller running Ardupilot?
