# Here 3 GPS disable

Hi!  
I have Here 3 connecting via CAN.  
I want to disable the GPS module and use only the compass.  
how can I do it?

Maybe just change the GPS\_TYPE so it won’t pickup the DroneCAN GPS?

For Ardupilot to pickup GPS module over DroneCAN, you need to set GPS\_TYPE to 9. setting it back to Auto will disable use Here3 GPS over DroneCAN.
