Herelink SBUS not being recognised by non-arducopter FC

As an experiment tried plugging in a Herelink to another flight controller, SBUS and Mavlink. Standard Mavlink messages are working, however the SBUS is being very odd.

SBUS channels 3/7/8/9/10/11/12 are being recognised, but the others are not.

If a Futaba Rx is plugged in on FC boot up, all channels are recognised from the Futaba, if its then removed and the Herelink SBUS hot swapped, all channels work.

I realise there is no support for non-cube installs, but there appears to be something a little non-standard with the herelinks SBUS output. Any ideas on what it could be?

Interesting that only 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 are not working.

PX4 accepts it as well as ardupilot, and we know quite a few gimbals accept it fine.

Is the other FC running Ardupilot or PX4?

Gremsy S2 gimbal wasn’t happy with HereLink SBUS.

Gremsey has no issues with HereLink normally. How is your setup done?
