HereLink V1.1 air unit power supply voltage recommendation

Is there a recommended power supply voltage for the HereLink V1.1 air unit that will allow both HDMI inputs to be used and provide good RF range?

The specs recommend 7V - 12V, is any voltage in that range suitable or should provide a voltage closer to 12V?

I used a 7V BUC and it works fine.

I use 12v with no issues
