# Herelink V1.1 back screen is on with a dim lighgt but can see anything

_I have a [Herelink Controller Unit (V1.1)](https://www.google.com/search?ibp=oshop&prds=pvt:hg,pvo:29,mid:576462434649678654,imageDocid:3234945827888457730,gpcid:503820079840853147,headlineOfferDocid:4948513404527255293,catalogid:1203255672823905914,productDocid:4515614113842084276,rds:PC_503820079840853147%7CPROD_PC_503820079840853147&q=product&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi1_rO67-mUAxW4UGwGHftJI70Qxa4PegYIAAgWEAU) that requires a hardware servicing. The backlight turns on, but the display remains completely black. I have already opened the casing to verify the internal display ribbon cable is fully seated, and testing Fastboot mode (Power + D) displays no text, confirming a broken LCD panel._

_I do not have the original purchase invoice for this unit.._
