Hi all,

Multiple buttons on my remote controller are configured on RC CH5. I use RC CH5 to select the flight mode. This way I can select the flight mode of my quadcopter.
I configured my remote controller to set RC CH5 to 1295μs (which equals the Loiter flight mode) after bootup. So, after every (remote controller) boot, my quadcopter is set to Loiter. This is what I prefer, since I fly almost always in Loiter.

When my remote controller reboots while flying, a radio failsafe invokes (which switches to the RTL flight mode). When the controller has bootup, I want that the quadcopter continuous in RTL. However, when I was using a different flight mode than Loiter before my remote controller reboots, the Cube flight controller sees a change in the flight mode channel (RC CH5) (because after a reboot my remote controller sets RC CH5 to 1295μs (which equals the Loiter flight mode)) and then switches from RTL to Loiter. In this specific case I want to continue in RTL, instead of switching to Loiter.
Does anyone know a solution for this issue?

PS I’m using ArduCopter.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Max
