After I have installed Tarot camera I encountered several control configuration issues.

First one, it is impossible to deactivate gimbal stabilization

Second one, when I activate zoom it also rotates camera

It seems that several actions are assigned to same control (AUX)

Third one, I dont know how to configure Tilt and Pan.

Is this related to CubePilot hardware at all? I suggest you wait for answers over at the Ardupilot forum.

From the symptoms, this sounds more like a channel/function mapping conflict than a hardware failure.

Especially:

- zoom triggering camera rotation,

- and stabilization behavior not disabling correctly.

It feels like multiple functions may currently be sharing the same AUX/control assignment somewhere between HereLink, ArduPilot, and the gimbal controller itself.

A few things I would check systematically:

• Verify that zoom, tilt, and pan are each assigned to completely separate RC/AUX channels
• Check for overlapping RCx\_OPTION assignments in ArduPilot
• Verify the gimbal control mode/protocol being used (PWM vs MAVLink vs serial)
• Check whether stabilization is being enforced internally by the Tarot gimbal itself rather than by ArduPilot
• Confirm that HereLink wheel/switch mappings are not duplicated unintentionally
• Temporarily disable all non-essential AUX mappings and test one function at a time

The “zoom also rotates camera” behavior especially feels like either:

- shared channel mapping,

- overlapping PWM ranges,

- or mixed control assignments inside the gimbal configuration.

I would probably isolate the system step-by-step:

1. Get tilt working alone

2. Then pan

3. Then zoom

4. Then stabilization modes

before combining all functions together.
