Would it be possible to bind an old ground unit on latest software to a new V1.1 Airunit?

Yes,as long as you are using latest firmware on both unit.
May I know the firmware version you use on both unit?

I am using latest beta OTA update. Don’t have the unit with me now so i can’t be precise on version.
