Do vtol/hybrid aircraft need braked esc’s to stop the motors free wheeling while in forward flight? I had a situation where it appeared that a motor spun up from airflow over it in a high alpha situation and just compounding the problem making the aircraft nearly uncontrollable due to the induced drag. The log showed all 4 vtol engine throttle signals stopping after transition ended.
Motor breaking has nothing to do with this.
Some people put secondary hardware to align the props.
So your saying un braked motors should be fine?
