I recently upgraded the firmware on both the airunit and herelink through the PC flasher provided in the docs titled flasher_linux tool. The tool showed that it succeeded but when I booted the herelink and airunit, and after following all the steps in the docs, the two refused to pair.
I have tried reflashing and still did not work. What’s interesting is that this did work for me out of the box before I decided to use the flasher_linux tool. I’m not sure why reflashing to the newest firmware screwed it up. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to diagnose this? I am almost confident that I followed the intructions exactly provided in the documentation.
Just to add to this, I also flashed a brand new herelink using the linux flasher tool and am having the same issue. The unit was flashed to version FRU01260324 over usb, I was then forced to download RU01260331 over wifi after starting up the herelink. I am also unable to pair to any air air units currently. I have another tablet running a different firmware version that can pair with no issues. Is there a way to roll back the firmware version without being forced to upgrade on startup?
We have encountered the same issue: We flashed FRU01260324, update to RU01260331 (forced) and now we are unable to pair.
@ CubePilot Team: It would be great to have the option to roll back firmware versions in case any issues arise in the future. Otherwise, we can never rely on it for productive use.

just got an answer from CubePilot that this issue if fixed. just re-flash both the remote and the air unit and its all good. ive tried it myself and now its working well.
