Anyone done range-tests on different regulatory settings? FCC, CE etc

Hi there,

For interest sake, has anyone done range tests with all the different transmit settings on the Herelink?

Obviously I know that those are location specific and should be used in accordance of your Country’s law etc.

Reason for asking, in rural places in Africa, this becomes slightly more controversial, in that sense, which setting would provide the best range? FCC gives far more range than CE etc. What about the rest? SRRC etc?

Should I read up about each one?

I would take a look at this video from MadRC as a starting point:

While range is important, IMHO resilience in noisy environments during line-of-site operations is more important.
