Attention pixhawk cube can burn when switching the power port!

All looks ok.

The part that is “burned” is the Mauch? Correct?

Not only Mauch Bec, but also the Mauch sensor, and the pixhawk controller burned down (I think the POWER SELECTION MODULE or Carrier Board burned down). Pixhawk does not work, does not connect to the computer, does not load.

@philip what is the max voltage the cube power brick can handle is it 10S?

Standard Power Brick Mini up to 8S.
Much hyb-bec up to 14 s

12S to 1 power port?

Did anyone have a fix for this issue, haven’t seen any post with fixes

The fix was to replace the damaged components.

I’m referring to the reason why the unit to failed or got damaged, the cause of it , so it want happen to other Cube’s
Thanks Anyway

It has never happened to any besides this one. We have no evidence that it’s hardware related. There are around 150,000 cubes out there, and just this report.
