Automatic cam trigger, In assent and descent

Hi everyone. Apologies in advance if this is the wrong category and or it’s been asked before.

I need to inspect a large tower by moving up and down and have the camera triggered automatically by the CUBE every 2 seconds to ensure that the hot shoe sync writes the trigger message into the FC log file ready for post processing.

Obviously this works fine when doing a mission using cam trigger distance but as this only works horizontally I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on this dilemma.

I use a Sony A7rII with seagull MAP2 and seagull SYNC2.
Latest Copter release and mission planner.

You can trigger by time?

I think you will find DO_REPEAT_SERVO does what you are after. You may have to add it in manually to your flight plan just before you begin your climb to the next waypoint. You may have to stop it at the top of each climb.
