I have a quadcopter which has an all up weight of 5 kg with SunnySky X4110S motors with 1555 props, supposed to be consuming around 153 W/kg to lift the drone. This means that the quadcopter consumes 600 W in order to stay aloft. However, from the flight data I see that the quadcopter pulls 13 A from the 6s (22.2 V) 16000 mAh battery.
My calculations tell me that if I need to provide 600 W, then I need to output (600 W) / (22.2 V) = 27 A.
Where am I mistaken? Is the current reading in flight data not correct? Or am I missing a nuance?
Thanks a lot!
