Cannot Flash Cube Orange with Copter

I wanted to wipe and restart with a Cube this morning. I updated from Copter to Antenna Tracker as I’ve done before. I’m able to connect to the Cube/Antenna Tracker but cannot update firmware back to the latest Copter.

I’ve:

  1. Restarted computer
  2. Tried another computer
  3. Uninstalled/reinstalled Mission Planner
  4. Tried different USB cables
  5. Tried another COM port number
  6. Tried plugging directly into the Cube Orange instead of a USB extension
  7. Tried other USB cables

I am able to connect to it via Tracker so I know it isn’t bricked

ERROR: No response from board

What is going on?

I got same error when doing a simple update from V4.3.5 to V4.5.4
It fails at ‘Scanning comports’
I’m not connected to the plane at the time

Any suggestions really welcome

SOLVED

I updated the Bootloader and all works now, succesfull upload to V4.5.4

@louisianahelicam as @steviegeek noted can you try updating the bootloader. You can do so by connecting as Tracker and the go to Firmware update page, there should be an option to do so.
