We are extremely happy to announce that our student team has managed to rank 4th in the flight demonstration part of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers UAS Competition, ranked 7th overall and managed to score the “Operational Supportabillity” award for following industry standards in the design of our helicopter as well as the checklists and packaging. We would like thank Cube Pilot for providing us with Cube Orange flight computer as well as the surrounding ecosystem including the GPS and the herelink air unit which were crucial in making our helicopter perform up to standards.
