We are trying to use Herelink only as a ground control system, not the controller itself for our UAV. Because it has so much delay. Our plane crashed so many times because our pilot has bad connection. So we bought a Radiomaster TX16S for controlling purposes.
We send herelink air unit data via TELEM1 port. And our Flywoo 2.4 receiver uses TELEM2 port. MAV parameters are configured to work with this ports. I configured our device cubepilot_cubeorange like it said on PX4 documentation.
I disabled rc_input, and enabled crsf. Then I compiled the custom PX4 and uploaded to the device. We also flashed the receiver.
We can connect our controller to receiver. Herelink also works by itself. We can see it on the Herelink tablet. But when we try to use both together, sometimes Qgroundcontrol stops working, and if we are lucky, we can see the “no manual control input” error, and can’t arm the vehicle.
