Cube orange compatibility with old 433mhz telemetry module?

hello,
Any one have experience with connecting old 433mhz telemetry(4 pin) module to cube orange (ADS-b carrier board standard) telemetry port(6 pin). is it safe to assume connecting only 4 pin to cube will work normally. or do i have to use the RFD 900 module (6 pin) which recommended to the cube.

If you fly non critical missions at short range (1 Km), this module is OK
