Cube Orange: No boot nor lights via USB

Just bought a used Cube Orange from an apparently reputable sUAS builder and upon arrival and bench testing, it will not boot nor respond.

I’ve tried multiple USB cables which all work with other USB devices, tested multiple ports, used multiple Windows 11 machines (and a Linux machine), with and without SD card… It just won’t boot or even enumerate.

Latest sUAS drivers installed and tried both Mission Planner stable and beta.

Is this thing permanently bricked?

Tried the Cube by itself not plugged into any carrier board? It has a USB socket of its own.

Correct, yes. The only carrier board I have is the 3DR Solo, but this unit was being benchtested via USB as described above.
