We have been using this cube for three years, and it has been working fine. However, during testing, the drone crashed. After the crash, we have noticed that the USB port has been damaged. When we tried to connect the cube to the Mission Planner, we encountered the error message: Check BRD_TYPE: Failed to update IO firmware. We also tried to flash the firmware again, but it still gives the same error message.
@philip we have checked everything and it’s not working, seems like a issue with hardware.
Check the SD Card too, maybe it is damaged or dislodged.
You can also take the Cube off the mini carrier and try it on a standard carrier which has an external USB port, or even try the Cube by itself without a carrier.
It’s possible an internal connector has dislodged but I would not advise disassembling the Cube itself.
We have tried changing the carrier board to standard carrier board and used usb port from the board, but facing same issue. Getting error while flashing the cube and cannot connect to it.
