Cubepilot orange flight controller development

Hello and good day, everyone. I hope everyone is doing great.

I’m a graduated student from a university majoring in aerospace engineering. I really love so much UAVs and drones, and the most I like is the flight controller. so I got 2 things to ask,

  1. For the cubepilot orange, I really want to design myself one my own. not to sell but just to learn the PCB design and to get a deeper understanding of the electronics. I have found the schematic diagram in Github; however, it only saves as.schDoc, which can be read only using Altium Designer (I don’t have one). I currently use EasyEDA software to learn as it is free. may I know if ther any other alternative?

  2. As far I have read, when I have done design the PCB, it require a loading firmware to ensure my computer can detect and start program the bare metal flight controller. May I know how can I solve that?

sorry for the long post, I really appreciate everyone who help

First of all, good day to you. I am a high school student, and we have built a UAV using Pixhawk Orange Cube and Here 3 GPS. However, today this UAV crashed due to an issue with the motors, and it is highly likely that the Orange Cube has been damaged. If you find its schematic, could you please share it with me as well?
