There seems to be a lot of varying requirements and definitions as to what Dual Operator really means. I was hoping to get some clarity, and possible advice on that.
To me, the point of having a Dual Operator function is so that a pilot can be watching a forward facing situational awareness camera, while a secondary payload operator is controlling the payload, and watching that secondary payload stream simultaneously.
What is currently functional is only the command side of things; two operators can independently control channels, but both cannot be watching the two separate streams at the same time. They both have to be watching whichever stream is activated on the main controller.
I’ve seen floating around that it is a feature being worked on. Is this true? Is there a timeline for the release of this feature? Or am I missing something in setup that allows this?
