Drone rates being overwritten


I’m having issues where I set rates on the ardupilot drone in mission planner but then when using the here link controller the controller rates take priority over the drone rates. Is there a way to bypass this?

What rates? Also attach your parameter file.

The Herelink has nothing to do with PID. Check if your parameters are committed properly.

I may be saying the wrong thing. But it is the sensitivity of the jousticks. When running open tx we have no issues but when running cube pilot it oberwrites it. We have had many issues with this system.

Did you recalibrate the RC on autopilot after switching the controller?
Different controllers has their own behaviour. Also you may modify the exponential/deadzone on Herelink.
