Moving final stages of manufacturing of HereLink to Australia
We will be moving HereLink Controller manufacturing to Australia over the next year. This is in an effort to increase sovereign capabilities in Australia, as such, manufacturing of some parts are moving from China (HereLink is our only product with Chinese sourcing of components) to Taiwan and Australia
This will not be a functional change, as moving manufacturing in-house in Australia will have enough challenges of its own without making any significant changes.
Part number and certification will remain the same.
The Primary chip will still be the S1 surge, which is manufactured by TSMC in Taiwan
This unfortunately will not change the NDAA status from 2020 compliance to later due to the heritage issues of the S1
However, it will be labelled as “Made in Australia” with local and foreign components in compliance with Australian law
This will be a rolling change…
