I’m running into what seems to be a persistent issue that I haven’t been able to find a fix for. I’m using a brand new Cube Blue H7 out of the box that I want to use for hardware-in-the-loop testing. Previous work for software-in-the-loop functionality was done using PX4 and QGC, so I’d like to continue using that rather than switching to Ardupilot.
The issue I’m encountering is with trying to set up firmware on the Cube. It’s detected by Windows, and Ardupilot can be flashed and used in Mission Planner, but PX4 installation leads to no detection by QGroundControl or Mission Planner.
I’m judging Ardupilot to be working by this appearing in the device manager after flashing Ardupilot.
When I flash using PX4 (stable version, 1.14.0), I see the following:
My next plan is to try to install Mission Planner to potentially fix this by installing fresh drivers, but that takes time since I need to do this on a work computer which requires special permissions to install such software. In the meantime, I’m wondering if there are other options.
