I am running Pixhawk4 Mini with Herelink 1.1 but I have the following message do I need to update the Android QGround control ?
hi,
This is a long time well known issue as QGC version on the Herelink is 4.07 whereas now the new QGC version is v4.2.8 . I have no idea why the dev team is unable to crack this issue. Must take care as this also affects the battery indications and Herelink does a lot of failsafe triggers to bring the drone down…
You are correct it cutting the battery off at the wrong threshold. Could I just update QGround Control manually from the apps store?
The issue what i find surprising is Qgc is a telemetry relaying app. So firmwares like Px4 or Ardupilot sends mavlink messages to a gcs like QGC. So the 100$ question is ,why did they change the parameter naming structure for some , where QGC cannot recognize the mavlink message !! All the issues are happening becos QGC is not understanding the mavlink messages. Or is it the other way around . Battery parameters should have been the easiest of them all.
Does this have any effect on the battery voltage seen or any threshold triggers?
I should have said QGC is at version 4.0.8
it is presently stopping me from progressing from hardware troubleshooting to software application programs !! I am not sure what others are doing other than doing simulation which is nevrr same ae doing on real hardware.
yep, that is very very old and imagine when you try to match this version with the latest QGC 4.2.8 …I think the reasonfor this is there are no industry standards in maintaining these firmwares. Well, guess who is benefitting in all these obstacles…brands like DJI…!!
