on the perennial topic of antenna placement:
From a practical perspective having them flat on the wings (parallel to the wing edge? or at a right angle?) would seem sensible, but from this forum I gather I should have them (near) vertical.
What would you do on a flying wing like this? Have them stick out like bunny ears?
If so, should they face sideways (slightly more aerodynamic) or front-facing (more drag).
TBH, at this point I am actually less concerned about a couple of minutes of flight time, or the last bit of range, more about vulnerability during what will invariably be fairly rough landings while I am learning to fly that thing…
