Is it possible to power the air unit from the 6-12v power input, and also have a backup battery pack connected to the usb or would that damage the air unit?
As far as I remember, the USB port is to upgrade the Airlink firmware from old firmware. Once upgraded, you can upgrade the Airlink future firmware versions from the Herelink GCS menu , of course having the internet connection thro’ Herelink GCS
5V from USB power is not enough to power up the air unit.
