Herelink Stuck after Firmware Upgrade

My Herelink gets stuck installing updates after flashing the newest firmware via usb.

  1. installed FRU01240530 with the flasher via USB.
  2. Herelink boots, asks to update Device
  3. Connect to Wifi
    “Ready for Update:
    Current Version: FRU01240530
    Latest Version: FAARU01231123”
    Here i think its weird that the latest seems to be older than the current.
  4. Update → Downloading Update
  5. The System Reboots and gets stuck at 100% of “Installing system update” spashscreen

Is that a known Issue? how can i fix this?

I suggest to track the firmware package that have been doanloaded on your PC and delete it. Then power on your unit in FastBoot mode to redo the update process.
As the old FW package is no longer present on your computer, the scipt will download a fresh new one. It can fix this.

ok, so this is a X FreeFly controller. and the reason its failing is they run a custom partition map.

is this something you are aware of?
