High Altitude Balloon Integration

Hello everybody I am currently working on a high altitude balloon project and thought about using a pixhawk cube as our “flight controller” (Here, I am stricltly going to use it for telemtry/sensing data). I was wondering if a pixhawk cube is a viable option. The current plan is to launch the balloon with the intention of reaching 30,000 meters.

I want to use an rfd900x as my telemtry radio and the Holybro m10 as the GPS sensor. I would really appreciate any guidance on this topic

I would say the Cube is highly suitable. Check out and perform the IMU temperature calibration since you’ll be dealing with a wide range of temperatures.
The M10 GNSS module is a small cheap consumer unit that seems to sacrifice accuracy for size. A Here unit will provide better performance. In fact the Here4 with break-out board could be your flight controller and GNSS all in one.
