Hold Mode Air Speed

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to change the speed at which a fixed wing flies during its hold mode. Currently I’m tracking my fixed wing to Hold at 20 m/s though it’s consuming more power than I’d prefer. Ideally, I’d like it to fly at 14 m/s. Is there a way I can change this? I looked through the documentation and the parameters and I didn’t see a way to get this done.

The parameter you are looking for TRIM_ARSPD_CM
http://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/parameters.html#trim-arspd-cm-target-airspeed
This is the target airspeed for all auto modes

You can use the change speed function in Mission Planner to set the speed.
