Hi,
I’m trying to upgrade the antennas on my Herelink v1.1 ground controller and could use a bit of guidance.
What I’m using
- Antenna set: 2.4 GHz LHCP 3-leaf / 4-leaf clover antennas – RP-SMA male (purchase link).
- Herelink controller ports (as far as I can tell): mini-BNC.
Issue
I haven’t been able to source a mini-BNC-to-RP-SMA-female adapter (or short pigtail) that’s mechanically secure and rated for solid RF performance at 2.4 GHz. I wanted to confirm:
- The exact connector type and gender on the ground controller (mini-BNC female, or something else?).
- A part number or vendor you recommend for a suitable adapter / pigtail.
- Any best-practice tips (clearance, re-calibration) to keep the link reliable once the new antennas are attached.
If there’s an official accessory or an approved third-party option, that would be ideal.
Thanks in advance for the help.
