Japanese herelink, WiFi hotspot does not work

Hi,

We are having trouble getting the WiFi hotspot functionality to work on our japanese herelink. Is there anything that needs to be done in order to make it work? We have tried factory reset and updating firmware but still no luck.

We are running the firmware version AAU01211129

the firmwre version you have mentioned is that of the air unit. can you grab the GCS units firmware version?

Settings > About Phone > System Update

Hi, do you have an update? We have tried factory reset before, but still nothing. It seems like WiFi hotspot isn’t working at all on the Japan version. Could it be a limitation within the Japan firmware?
