Kore Carrier Board

Hi,

a) Kore Board Official calibration values of Power Module are available at link: http://docs.spektreworks.com/carrier_board_v1_3_1

Below are setting currently available:

Parameter Value
BATT_AMP_OFFSET 0.45
BATT_AMP_PERVOLT 50
BATT_CURR_PIN 3
BATT_MONITOR 4
BATT_VOLT_MULT 15.3
BATT_VOLT_PIN 2

Problems being faced with above setting:

  1. Incorrect voltage reading. Offset of 1-2 Volts.
  2. Negative current display at unarmed state of drone. Should be around 0.1-0.4 Amperes.

b) Water Level Sensor:
Problems being faced:

  1. Incorrect voltage levels for High and Low Logic levels. TTL logic levels are required for compatibility with Pixhawk.
Best logic levels: High Logic Level : 5V , Low Logic Levels : 0V

Solutions tried: Included capacitor of 10uf and 0.1uf as per the datasheet of the sensor provided. No solutions obtained.

Water level sensor? Maybe post a data sheet and tell us what you are trying to do with it?

If you are getting a voltage offset and negative current reading, my first thing would be to double check your wiring. However, on the Kore, it’s hard to get that wrong.

Maybe try a hard parameter reset, load plane then copter and do a parameter comparison, only copy back the parameters you really need.

Hi Philip,
I am using the Kore carrier board with the power module settings provided, on Hexacopter drone of configuration 12S Battery with maximum current of 90A. With normal Power distribution board I tested the drone and it was flying fine. After switching to Kore carrier Board, there are some discrepancies with the stability of the drone. Now drone is having hard time maintaining its balance. Is this some power related issue.
