I live in Korea and am currently producing a quad drone using a mission planner. I am writing because I have a question about the mission planner compass/motor calibration.
When do you use compass/motor calibrat
You dont need to unless getting magnetic interference from battery, wiring, ESCs or motors.
Usually you can disable the internal compass and just use an external compass in the GPS module. But if that cant be positioned so it is free of interference, then you need the Compass/Motor calibration.
