Mission Planner - Orange Cube and RFD900

I am having issues with receiving data. When I direct connect my computer to the orange cube i receive GPS, air data, etc. When I try to connect RFD900 from computer to plane, I receive no data. I did change the BAUD 115 and air to 200. I do not see what I am missing to receive data from the RFD900

Have you change the settings for Telemetry Radio setup?

I originally had this setup. I found some reviews that stated the to change the setup to the one i discussed above. When I direct connect to my laptop I see all the relevant data. When I connect with the RFD900: I only see RC controls.

Changed settings on both radios?

Do you have solid green LEDs on the radios, or blinking green?

Can you connect each to the computer in turn and get a screenshot of their settings, either from the MissionPlanner Sik radio section or the RFDtools.

  • Dont select AES, ECC or Op Resend.
  • You can select RTS/CTS if your cable for the flight controller has all the wires - if only tx and rx then leave RTS/CTS deselected.
  • Do select Max Window 80ms if you are using the higher baud rates.
