I have never used the “3M electronics” pads, or the thinner, black pads to mount Cube + carrier.
I find them a bit hard/stiff.
Can anyone confirm that the accompanying black/white foam pieces are a good choice?
Start with hard mounting the autopilot by screwing the carrier board to your frame. Unless you have a gas engine and testing indicates you need additional isolation, the foam that is internal to the Cube is the best.
Thank you Craig, I suspected that it was usable for most, yet by old habit I always made something softer.
