Would anyone know if Herelink is compatible with Pixhawk 2.4.8? I currently have it in stock with Herelink on the way.
Additionally, how is everyone’s experience with manual flight control using the Herelink interface to PixHawk? I can’t seem to find much information on this topic.

Technically yes it will work but it’s not officially supported hardware.
Its compatible with Mavlink and Ardupilot and while choosing a good and reliable autopilot such as the Cube is recommended that’s not to say it can’t be used with others.
Definitely will… it will work like with cube or any other pixhawks.
I used 2.4.8 in combination with 3D printed F450 to learn the herelink features to not crash expensive done with cube.
Be prepared for few challenges… two main are get working the HD camera and second is esc calibration. Don’t use it with cheap sh.t ESC’s bcs the PWM is starting on Herelink from 1100 and not all ESC’s can handle this.
In the final configuration I strongly recommend you a cube. If you paid 800 bugs for controller spend 250 more for the cube it’s worth that money.
