Can I power the board like this? Still undecided on what power module I will be using. Probable a Mauch or Power Brick.
Yes, as far as I know the mini carrier board is like the full sized carrier in that you ESC BEC will just power the servo rail alone. The power brick will power the Cube, RC Receiver and GPS and so on.
The trick will be making sure your ESC BEC is up to the job of supplying your servos reliably.
