I recently upgraded the firmware on our HERE2 controller. However we have had over 2 days of downtime due to the fact that the documentation didn’t mention that you need to make sure you have a product key before flashing. Yes, there is a line saying under activation:
Note:On later Herelink versions your key will be located on the box, for earlier Herelink versions you should contact your original reseller to obtain a valid licence key.
On our box we don’t have a product key so now we are waiting on our reseller to process this request which is fine however I would have preferred doing it in advance before flashing to minimize downtime.
So please add this warning to the flashing guide that you should make sure that you have a product key ready.
