Serial 1 port and peripheral devices

Hi All,

I see in the “Cube Module Overview” site (link) that I should not power my telemetry device from the “serial 1” port.
Where should I power it from if I am connecting my device to the “serial 1” port?

The guidance from Phillip would be to power a high-power radio from an external BEC or another power source.

The spec sheets for the standard carrier board say the Telem 1 port provides 1.5A independent of other ports. That should be enough power for a high-power radio, but CubePilot does not recommend using that for a high-power radio.
