Sticks control over UART

Hi guys,

Is there any possibility to use the sticks as RC channel 1 to 5 via the UART connection in order to control for instance a gimbal connected to the cube?
I have managed to map a camera trigger button.

The sticks are hardcoded to ch1-4. You can’t mix something to use the sticks for something else during flight. If used only as a gimbal controller, then get a sbus-ppm converter and stick that to your gimbal. Most gimbals allow direct sbus connection nowadays.

There are several serial control protocols for gimbals (e.g. STorM32, AlexMos). So, the answer to your OP is yes. This page has all – most – of the ArduCopter gimbals and setup info:
