Thermal testing on Cube Orange +

Has the Cube Orange + gone through thermal testing? Specifically looking for thermal cycling data and thermal survival data in extreme temperature conditions.

Yes it does.

As someone who’s worked with the Cube Orange in both lab and field conditions, I can confirm that thermal management is crucial, especially during extended operations or high-load processing. In my experience, it performs reliably up to around 60°C, but it’s good practice to monitor temps in real-time and use passive or active cooling (like small heatsinks or fans) if you’re in a warmer environment or running demanding workloads. Proper airflow around the carrier board also makes a noticeable difference. Just make sure you’re logging temperatures during test flights…that data can really help fine-tune your setup!

the problem is they test it to extreme temps but only spec it to -20 (cube black used to be speced to -30) so it does not matter what they test it to, you can only legally fly it at -20
I wish they would update that spec to -30 because -20 is a summers day up here.
