Use second voltage and current sensor without powering cube on power port 2

Hi, i would like to use current on voltage sensor of the power port 2 of the cube using a second mauch sensor but i don’t want it to power cube.

i would like to have electrical data of my battery payload.
need i just connect i and V wire and ground to have these informations on the hud?

I have not tried this before, but if you have a look at the POWER2 port pinout:

maybe disconnecting VDD_5V_BRICK would do what you need. But I’m not sure how the firmware will handle it.
