I have been trying to use a servo motor with cube orange and the herelink controller. I have tried everything but can’t get the motor to move. I have connected the motor to aux 5 on the cube pilot and I want to use the wheel on the herelink to make the motor move. I have also changed the 5 in servo output in mission planner to RCIN16 (as I have set the wheel to channel 16). please help me get a servo/PWM signal so I can move the servo.
My aim is to use this for a rover not a drone.
I have given power to the servo externally using a 9V battery but have not provided power to any of the rails on the cube orange carrier. Also this is the first time I am using any of these parts so please forgive me if I don’t understand anything during the future replies
Thanks for your inputs @steviegeek. Yes, I attached the 9v to the system negative but have solved the problem now. I had to change the SERIAL_PROTOCOL for that output pin to sbus output or winch and the servo runs fine. I also made sure the input channel I had for the servo were correct. I also ended up powering the servo up with 5v from an arduino board.
