I just received a Herelink Ground Unit. The first thing it wants to do is to upgrade its software. OK…so I plug in its USB charger and find a Wifi and start the download process. This takes a while (don’t know why as the Wifi is pretty fast). After about an hour, the download seems to finish, but Herelink complains that the state of charge (SOC) is too low to complete the upgrade.
The SOC was at 28%! if 28% SOC isn’t enough for an upgrade, does anyone know what is enough?
Thank you for being one of the Very Few people who responded on the numerous forums I requested support from. Support for this product is quite poor. Best I can tell, Cubepilot expects to get money for selling you a product, but looks to volunteers to support it…for no pay. Experience tells me: this model does not work so well for consumers.
Anyway…nothing I know of was interfering with wifi as another herelink ground unit is happily working from about 12 inches away. It’s. Just. Bricked.
