On the Latest Ardupilot master firmwares, you can run dual here2 GPS on same bus(Only on CAN1) or with different bus(CAN1 & CAN2)
This is great feature to have! Lastest Mission Planner allows you to set Compass priority. You can set your most reliable compass on top. Things have been made simple on Mission planner.
