Here3+ firmware upgraded to Here4AP...need to revert

Hello,

I own 3 x Here3+ GPS devices that I upgraded to Here4AP firmware. I was unable to upgrade one of the Here3+ using either Standard nor Beta version of Mission Planner. The reason I grabbed the Here4AP firmware is that I figured not seeing any Here3+ would have worked. May be this was a bad idea…

They were all responding successfully using the U-Center software. And also Mission Planner also reported successful operation…once. Until it didn’t anymore. I keep getting the “EKF3 waiting for GPS config data” message.

Now I’m not seeing any of them (one at a time) through the DroneCan/UAVCan menu option nor using the DroneCAN GUI Tool.

I’m able to connect with each Here3+ using the U-Center 24.02, however no firmware upgrade seems to work. What are your recommendations to revert back to the original firmware? Even if I want to use “Passing Serial over DroneCAN”, I’m unable to see any NodeID.

Below are pics of what I’ve done (lucky for me I got screenshots of all this).

Thank you for your help! My project is kind of running out of time, so I’d really appreciate your help.

Marty

Just an update. I’m powering the unit with the actual batteries, instead of using my external USB battery to power the CubePilot Orange +. I’m now able to see the devices(!). Will report back with updates to help someone in the future. Here’s a screenshot of the 2 units working. The question now is, is this OK for production? Or should I still go back to the original Here3+ firmware? Cheers!
