Is it possible to connect Here 3 via I2C ?
Hello,
I2C is a sensors/control bus (like SPI and UavCan)
Herelink is a communication device with a RC port (Sbus) so the communication is Serial or IP type using Mavlink
Sorry i mean serial port as in gps1
No. Here3 is for CAN only.
Hi @Alvin
I have connected HERE 3 to the CAN port of Pixhawk 2.4.8
I have set all these parameters as well.
CAN_D1_PROTOCOL: 1
CAN_D2_PROTOCOL: 1
CAN_P1_DRIVER: 1
CAN_P2_DRIVER: 1
GPS_TYPE: 9
NTF_LED_TYPES: 231
My current firmware on drone is 4.0.3 stable.
Yet I am not able to calibrate my GPS under compass calibration in mission planner.
May I know what the issue is?
Check the CAN GPS order option in Mission Planner maybe that will help you.
Seems to work ok on the Pixhawk 2.4.8, via CAN of course
When you open the outer box, you can buy the switch i2c on the PCB board.
Then why there is a switch inside here3 GPS marked i2c or can???
