I’m trying to ingest the PPS signal from the Here4 breakout board. I’ve connected the cable from the 11-pin connector on the bottom of the GPS to the 11-pin connector on the breakout board. When I connected an oscilloscope to the PPS ground and signal pins on the breakout board I could see a pulse, but it was extremely short and I was unable to determine the period. I can’t find much online about the PPS signal, so I wanted to ask for more information:
- What is the expected pulse length of the PPS signal? (make sure I’m looking at the right thing)
- What is the period/frequency of the PPS signal?
- What is the expected voltage of the pulse?
- If I needed to change the frequency of the PPS signal, how do I do that? Do I need to modify the firmware? And is there any info on how to do that?
